First Baptist Church Louisville, Ga is looking for a part-time Youth Minister. This is a very good opportunity for a young person who is looking to enter the ministry or someone who is looking to gain experience. The group ranges between 6th – 12th grade. The number of attendees range from 10 - 25. Our 10th graders represent a strong part of the group. The time requirement is very modest. We are looking for a Sunday morning and Sunday evening commitment and 1 Saturday a month. If someone is coming from out of town, we will find a quiet place for them to crash Sunday afternoon.
The support for the youth minister is solid. We have a well-organized and supportive parent group running the program currently. This parent group would continue to offer administrative support and would be happy to attend meetings to assist the youth minister. Also, our pastor has previous experience of being a youth pastor for 19 years and would be available to provide weekly coaching and discipleship by phone or zoom meeting if desired.
