Bethel E. Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking candidates for a full-time senior pastor. We are a Southern Baptist Church located in Elberton Georgia. Elberton is located in rural northeast Georgia near Lake Russell and Clarks Hill Reservoirs. Our congregation of 75-100 attending members are seeking a dynamic candidate to lead our church in spiritual growth. Our congregation is composed of multi-generational members covering a wide range of ages and we currently have a full-time youth minister employed for the youth age group. Our current Sunday worship services include Sunday School followed by our Worship hour, as well as Wednesday night children’s and Youth ministry. We seek a Senior Pastor whose responsibility is to lead members and attenders to a closer relationship with Jesus Christ and we also ask that the candidate conform to the statues found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. As the spiritual leader of our church, responsibilities would also include pastoral care and overall administration of our church in accordance with Bethel E. Baptist by-laws.
