Special Needs Associate

Purpose of Position: The Special Needs Associate will work together with the Special Needs Director to serve Special Needs Kids and Adults to create environments for these people to grow in Jesus and to experience authentic community.

Reports to: Special Needs Ministry Director at our Central Campus

Relates Closely with: Grow Team

Primary Skills Necessary:

• Oversee programming for kids and teens with special needs on Sundays, Respite Events and Wednesdays
• Growing walk with Christ
• Exceptional relational skills
• Driven and team oriented
• Organized and a high attention to detail
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

• Experience working with people who have special needs
• Some ministry and administrative experience preferred
• Member of Christ Place Church

Time Requirement

• 40 hours per week; occasional night and weekend work as required
• Time for this position would include office hours, Special Needs Ministry events, as well as other Grow Team special events
