Omega Baptist Church is a small town Church Located in southern Tift County. Our pastor Has recently retired due to health issues and we find ourselves searching for a pastor. Our Membership is 152, this is misleading after covid it seems we, as most other churches have declined attendace. as of august we run about 25 in Sunday School, and 45-50 in worship on sunday mornings. We feel at this time we need to transition from a full time pastor to a Bi-Vocational pastor. Our goal is to revitalize and grow to return to having a fulltime pastor. we have a pastorium ready to be lived in, and hope to find a God call man to come lead and shepherd us and the comunity. Omega is a farm comunity and we have grown in our Hispanic population, with cultural and launguage issues being our bigest obstical.
