Director of Children's Ministry (part time with potential full-time)

First Baptist Church of Dawsonville is looking for a biblical qualified individual who desires to serve our church in ministry to children and families.  

Presently this is a part-time position but has the potential to become full-time b/c of the expected growth in the area.  Presently Dawson county is one of the fastest growing counties in the state and our church has seen visitors consistently.

1.  We are looking for a born again Christian.
2. Must be able to lead children's ministry by giving direction to children, families, and volunteers.
3. We are looking for someone who can recruit, schedule, and lead volunteers.
4. Needs to have a heart to love kids ministry.
5. We are looking for someone who is called to serve the church in children's ministry.
6. Must be flexible and called to ministry.
7. Staff meetings are required.
8. Sunday and Wednesday availability during set gathering times.
9. Flexible and able to take on other tasks such as reading books, working with staff on projects, etc.
10. You got to want to be here and want to serve people.
