We are located 10 miles east of Macon in a rural setting and our attendance is about 115 on Sunday mornings. The salary is $9000.
Children are our most valuable resource. When children are entrusted to Stone Creek Baptist Church, it is our responsibility to be sure they have all their needs met. The Minister of Children shall see that these needs are met. The following requirements are set forth to guide him or her in the fulfillment of this goal.
To serve as Director of Children's Church during Sunday Morning Worship time
To plan, promote, and carry out other activities with the children
To visit children in the community
To pick up children for church services when and where feasible
To work with the Pastor and Youth Leader to coordinate children and youth activities
To submit to supervision by the pastor
Requests for time off shall be approved by the pastor or the chairman of deacons in his absence.
To coordinate with pastor all activities
To be present at all Church Council meetings to report on children's area of ministry
To prepare an annual budget for the children's ministry and present to finance committee
