Worship Leader Internship (1-Year Paid Position)

Reed Creek Baptist Church in Hartwell, GA, is offering a 1-year paid internship designed to help develop a worship leader. Our music style is blended worship with an emphasis on modern hymn arrangements. Our ideal candidate will be a male.

The Worship Leader Intern will work closely with the Senior Pastor to plan and lead weekly Sunday worship services in a blended worship style. This internship is an opportunity to learn and implement modern worship technology while contributing to the spiritual growth of our church community.

Responsibilities

• Worship Planning & Leading: Assist in planning and leading weekly Sunday worship services, blending contemporary and traditional music styles.
• Worship Technology: Gain hands-on experience with:
• Ableton Live: Set up and use stem tracks and midi cues for worship.
• Proclaim Presentation Software: Create and manage lyrics and visual presentations for worship services.
• Video Projection System: Operate and troubleshoot a small-scale system for sermons, worship, and events.
• General Graphic Generation: Using Canva and other AI tools to create engaging graphics
• Audio - Learn basic live audio mixing and streaming using a digital mixer.
• Collaboration: Work with the worship team, musicians, and tech volunteers to create a seamless worship experience.

Qualifications

• A strong personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ.
• Passion for worship ministry and openness to learning new skills.
• Basic musical proficiency (vocals or an instrument preferred). Sight reading not required but reading basic lead sheets and/or charts required.
• Interest in or familiarity with worship technology is a plus.

• Duration: 1 year (start date negotiable).
• Compensation: Paid internship (details provided during the interview process).
• Location: Reed Creek Baptist Church, Hartwell, GA.
• Weekly hours: 10
• Year Estimated Salary: $8500
